ENGINEERING COST CONTAINMENT

Romanow Container was bursting at the seams. A one-stop resource providing a broad array of custom and commodity packaging solutions, the firm necessitated an efficient growth strategy due to rapid sales increases and the opportunity to maximize cost containment.
Design Build Value
The client retained Dacon for two expansion projects. The first was centralizing operations via a 66,000 SF expansion in Westwood, at which time unsuitable soil presented a key challenge. To address this an integral foundation was built to reinforce load-bearing capability. Struggling to identify a second space for expansion, Romanow asked Dacon to evaluate 12 sites for feasibility, cost, benefits and deficits which resulted in a 108,000 SF Littleton-based warehouse. Dacon returned $124,000 to Romanow in realized savings.
