‍As one of the nation’s largest asset development firms, New Mill Capital has a keen eye for investing. Focused on manufacturing facilities, New Mill sought to transition a former glass bottle manufacturing plant into warehouse space in response to Boston’s burgeoning market demand.

Design Build Value‍

In bringing this 47-year-old building up to code the two preeminent issues were heating and electrical. A code study and financial analysis determined that insulated metal panels would best serve long-term heating needs for this 297,000 SF space.  Formerly outfitted with high voltage electrical service, a new size and configuration appropriate for warehouses was designed, resulting in an updated, flexible space that accommodates modern warehousing needs.
