DACON Corporation Names Josh Brandt as Chief Operating Officer, Reinforcing Leadership for the Firm's Next Chapter

NATICK, Mass. – November 5, 2026 – DACON Corporation (“DACON”), a class-leading design-build firm serving commercial, industrial, and institutional clients throughout New England, today announced that Josh Brandt has been named Chief Operating Officer. Brandt will work alongside President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Quinn and Chief Financial Officer Renee Laskey to lead the firm's next chapter of growth.

The announcement is the first in a series of leadership transitions DACON will share over the coming year, as members of the firm's founding leadership move into retirement and a new generation of leaders step into expanded roles - a deliberate, multi-year succession plan designed to protect the culture, relationships, and standards DACON has built since 1985.

“When I met Josh, I knew right away he had the personality and leadership skills to take on this role, and that he would bring real value to the organization,” said Kevin Quinn, President and CEO of DACON. “The best part of this change is that clients shouldn’t see anything different. We are not changing our mission. If anything, what they will see is a more technical, more innovative approach.”

Across four decades, DACON has completed over $1.5 billion in construction contracts throughout New England, with a primary focus on design-build. Founded by an architect with a vision for single-source project delivery, DACON takes responsibility from project inception to completion. This mindset has also allowed the firm to excel at providing project planning and construction management on a stand-alone basis. Collaboration is central to how DACON stays on budget, meets schedule, and reduces risk.

In-house architecture is key to design-build. PDA, the firm’s in-house architecture and design team, has been part of the company from the beginning. PDA’s designers work side by side with DACON’s planning and construction teams from day one, so every design accounts for schedule, cost, and construction means and methods. The result is fewer surprises along the way. As DACON continues to invest in its brand and people, PDA’s role in this integrated delivery model will become an increasingly visible part of how the firm tells its story.

The leadership transition comes as DACON continues to evolve its brand to reflect the firm it has become - one team spanning design and construction, united around a single standard of delivery.

“We view ourselves as a 41-year-old start-up,” said Josh Brandt, Chief Operating Officer of DACON. “We are deeply proud of the four decades of success, relationships, and DNA behind us, but we are equally focused on where we go next. Our goal is to set the benchmark for integration, efficiency and creativity in design-build, while continuing to modernize how we serve our clients, support our people and deliver projects.”

Brandt's appointment as Chief Operating Officer reflects that same philosophy in practice; a single, unified leadership team carrying DACON’s model forward for its clients, partners, and communities.

One Vision. Fully Delivered.
