Creating Fairfield County’s largest wellness center is no small feat. Cambridge Hanover, an industrial properties investment firm, sought a building design that would serve as residence to their client Danbury Hospital while creating additional leasing opportunities. Timing was the main challenge – Danbury needed a new space within 12 months.
Keeping the existing steel structure and footprint, Dacon reconfigured the design of 2 office buildings with a second floor patio adding a third floor, thereby increasing the size 12,000 SF. Additionally, Neostone – an upscale stone veneer – provided the client’s desired exterior appearance while saving $40/SF versus granite. Whereas building an entire new structure would have taken 2 years, this project was completed in 12 months. Estimated close to cost, $15,000 was returned to the client.
