Since 1845 life is sweet for Lindt. A traditional product blended with innovative technology resulted in high growth necessitating a campus expansion to accommodate future business. A significant profit opportunity lay in centralizing raw material production from global sources.
Design Build Value
In a phased approach, Dacon created 4 building structures – a 145,000 SF production facility, 238,000 SF temperature-controlled warehouse, 98,000 SF packaging facility and a 43,000 SF liquor plant within a restricted environmental area. A temperature-controlled, glass-enclosed suspension conveyor belt connecting packaging, warehouse and manufacturing operations was installed over the wetlands to facilitate production while remaining environmentally sensitive.
