Monogram Foods, has just completed a 135,000SF facility at 51 Research Drive in Haverhill. This $1B manufacturer creates private label pre-assembled sandwiches for well-known restaurant and coffee chain brands, as well as convenience store snacks. Headquartered in Memphis and ranked for 10 consecutive years on Inc. 5000’slist of fastest growing firms, Monogram’s new Haverhill facility is part of their strategic plan to fulfill consumer demand via increased operational efficiency. They are bringing 355 new jobs to Massachusetts.
This facility’s design optimizes production to meet consumer demand with 6 areas – freezer, cold storage, cool dock, dry goods storage, production and offices – configured for ease in employee access. Critical for operational efficiency, process engineering includes a state-of-the-art ammonia refrigeration system. Loading dock areas and parking have been configured to maximize a restricted site plan. Paradigm Properties, an investor/operator/developer of office and industrial property, is the owner and developer. Monogram, Paradigm Partners and Dacon partnered with Groundwork Lawrence to mark the event with a $20,000 ‘Growing Community’ program. Groundwork Lawrence is a nonprofit civic organization that focuses on environmental improvement, fresh food access, youth/adult education and employment initiatives to cities north of Boston. They are receiving a Growing Community program in which 40 families will receive a cooking / nutrition program, along with $8,000 in Market Basket/ community garden gift cards, 525 plants for their 12 community gardens and a stipend to winterize their greenhouse.
