Dacon Corporation, Dowling Houy, LLC, R.E. Dinneen Architects & Planners and AHA Consulting Engineers recently completed OMNIlife science, Inc.’s (OMNI) new headquarters building at 480 Paramount Drive in Raynham, Massachusetts.
Recently purchased by Calare Properties, Inc. of Hudson, MA, the formerly vacant 40,000 SF, one-story building is located in the Raynham Woods Industrial Park across the street from DePuy Orthopaedic’s New England headquarters.
OMNI’s build-out includes 20,000 SF of office space, a 20,000 SF warehouse, a fully functional machine shop space, as well as an R&D and finished goods area. Additionally, this property is serviced by a drive-in shipping dock. Under a 90-day construction schedule, Dacon broke ground in early April and occupants took their place in late June.
OMNI relocated from 50 O’Connell Way in Taunton, MA, a building which was immediately demolished after its move to Raynham to make way for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s Casino, which is presently under construction.
Chuck Houy and Amanda Randall-Capobianco of Dowling Houy, LLC were OMNI’s Owner’s Representatives for the project; Lynn Tokarczyk of Business Development Strategies, Inc. successfully negotiated a 15-year TIF on OMNI’s behalf; and Steven Clancy of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. brokered the transaction.
This is Dacon’s eighth project in the Raynham Woods Industrial Park. The majority of other assignments were design-build projects for DePuy Orthopaedics on its 500,000 SF New England campus.
