We were deeply saddened by the death of Dennis Leahy. Dennis was an indispensable asset to Dacon, and took a confident, positive approach to all he did. His personal commitment to the company and to his colleagues was evident in every interaction. Dennis was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to the entire Dacon family.

As vice president of Dacon Corporation since its founding in 1985, Dennis was, at various times, responsible for all phases of project implementation. In 1999, he became the director of safety for all construction activities. With Dennis at the helm, Dacon received industry recognition for its strong safety record and risk management procedures.

Prior to joining Dacon, Dennis was a member of the U.S. Navy Sea Bees, an experience which likely contributed to his “can do” attitude at Dacon that always resulted in the job getting done, getting done well, and getting done safely.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dennis’ family for sharing this extraordinary individual with us for so many years. He is truly missed.
