Acorn Management, DB-Schenker and Dacon Corporation recently celebrated the topping off ceremony at 310 Jubilee Drive in Peabody by raising the final beam on DB-Schenker's new 45,000-square-foot logistics and office center in Centennial Park. Executives, project team members and Peabody officials all signed the white I-beam prior to it being attached to the structural steel frame. Guests and on-site project personnel enjoyed an ice cream buffet following the ceremony. The new structure will enable DB-Schenker to consolidate the operations of its two Boston-area facilities, currently located in Woburn and East Boston.

As the design/builder for the project, Dacon Corporation has been responsible for all aspects of the design and construction of this one-story, 28-foot clear height building. It includes an insulated rubber membrane roof and an attractive building exterior created with a combination of insulated sandwich panels, an exterior insulated finish system, and a glass façade for the 14,000 square feet of office space within the facility. This build-to-suit project will be occupied in November and is the ninth project Dacon has completed in Centennial Park.
